Today, February 15, 2025, the GWS Capital Chapter held its annual Membership Meeting online, using Zoom.
... Next, the Board election was conducted. ... The members then agreed by voice vote to re-elect unanimously all the Board members seeking re-election: myself as President and Secretary, Christian Schiller as Vice President, Ken Belsley as Treasurer, Jim Palanchar as Director, Karen Stokes as Director and Cellarmaster, and Klaus Teuter as Director and Webmaster, with one Director vacancy on the Board left unfilled....
Finally, for the remaining hour of the meeting Karen Stokes conducted the annual wine quiz... Ken Kelly had the correct guess and won the contest. Kelly chose a prize of Falkenstein Rotwein...
... Overall, the meeting was a success, conducted within a reasonable time, and participants expressed satisfaction with the new quiz procedure.
German Wine Society - About Us
The German Wine Society is dedicated to improving knowledge of German wines and conducting events at which such wines are shared and appreciated. The Society is private, educational and not for profit.
Annual dues are currently $35 per individual or couple, and there is also a one-time initiation fee of $10 per person for a GWS medallion.
