The "Weinfeder e.V.", the association of German wine journalists had its Annual Membership Meeting recently (online), at which a new board was elected. Chairman remains Wolfgang Junglas, vice chairman is Dr. Heiko-Torsten Taudien, Michael Else was confirmed as treasurer, new secretary is Claudia Stern. Britta Binzer, Marcel Friederich, Rudolf Knoll, Robert Lönarz and Arthur Wirtzfeld were elected as members of the board. Christian Schiller was confirmed as the "Kassenprüfer"/ cash auditor.

The Weinfeder e.V. is a member of the FIJEV (Fédération Internationale des Journalistes et Ecrivains des Vin et Spiritueux/ International Federation of Wine and Spirits Journalists and Writers).

The Weinfeder e.V. is the association of German wine journalists: "Ein Zusammenschluss von Journalisten, Redakteuren, Autoren, Fotografen, Moderatoren, Lektoren, Textern, Grafikern, Dozenten, Bloggern sowie Personen aller Berufszweige in Sachen Wein, die in den Bereichen Print und/oder Online publizistisch tätig sind".

Weinfeder e.V.: "Wir lieben und schreiben Weingeschichten – zu lesen im Weinfeder Journal. Wir verkosten Weine und bieten faire Weinkritik. Wir besuchen führende Weinmessen ebenso wie regionale Weinevents. Wir rezensieren Weinliteratur und spiegeln Weinkultur. Wir begleiten Weinernten, Weinkellerarbeit und informieren über neueste önologische Trends. Wir reisen in bekannte und unbekannte Weinregionen, entdecken Winzertalente, portraitieren Weinpersönlichkeiten.“
